Malbec

Originally from the Bordeaux region of France, the Malbec grape is now diffused in Argentina, Chile, South Africa and Australia.

The Malbec grape is used to produce medium to full-bodied, dry red wine with good acidity and higher tannins and alcohol levels. The grapes tend to have dark, inky purple color profiles and ripe fruit flavors of cherry, plum and blackberry, which give to Malbec wines a decidedly jammy character. Chocolate and violet, along with high profile spices, make an interesting mix of aromas and flavors, adding to layers of complexity to the Malbec Grape_Malbec
