Wine Card: Sergio Rosé Extra Dry Mionetto

Mionetto is a well known brand of Italian sparkling wines (remember: as Champagne is always French, Prosecco is always Italian) and they created a softly-contoured, elegant and sinuous design for the bottle, which has become the symbol of the MO line.

There are five sparkling wines in the MO line: Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG, produced in the small area of 107 hectares by about 110 growers, amidst the hills of San Pietro di Barbozza, Santo Stefano and Saccol, in the municipality of Valdobbiadene; Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, smooth and velvety, produced from grapes harvested from the best two sites in the DOCG area; Prosecco DOC Treviso produced with grapes of the homonymous province, an area that historically produces high-quality Prosecco.

The Mo line is completed by Sergio, a unique and incomparable extra-dry sparkling wine produced by skillfully blending of Glera grapes with other indigenous grape varieties and Sergio Rosè, a blend of rosé wines from the Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige, with a beautiful bright peach blossom colour with subtle purple reflections.
