Azzurro’s owner, Guido, is an experienced restaurateur, with two venues in Koh Samui. He is a passionate supporter of Italian cuisine, authenticity and quality. That’s why he decided to import most of the main ingredients from Italy. Knowing his deal about the sector, he is a fine-dining lover, but understands that it often comes with too much formality. That’s why he decided to develop a restaurant with fine-dining quality cuisine, in a relaxed atmosphere.The Venue

Centrally located deep in Sukhumvit Soi 31, but away from the hustle of Bangkok major business and shopping area, Azzurro is housed in a bright stand-alone building with a small outdoor terrace and large windows looking on the street. Arches, Roman-style urns, tiles and pastel colors give the setting a Mediterranean look and feel. Although the restaurant has a casual setting, the tables are covered with elegant starched white tablecloths. There is seating for about 50 people in the main area, plus an elegant marble topped bar along one wall and an upstairs private room, for parties and private functions.

The Food

The menu of Azzurro is an ode to traditional Italian cuisine with some modern variations. But you won’t find any fusion dish or pizza here. Only fine Italian dishes, prepared as back in Italy.

You will find a good selection of appetizers, soups, pasta, meat and fish dishes, plus a special menu, depending on the availability of seasonal products from Italy.The Wines

The wine list presents a wide selection from Italasia. Extensive and interesting, it presents wines both from Old and New World. Many wines are available by the glass.

The location

Azzurro restaurant is located at 253/2 Sukhumvit Soi 31. It is very easy to reach by car, and it takes 5 minutes from Sukhumvit road. Valet parking is available.
